Yes, that should be their main job. People aren't going to know about all of the things that go on in the world without the media to help us out. We also don't need biased twists when we get the news reported to us. If we just got the facts, nobody could complain. People could make their own opinions on news stories instead of hearing it from someone who has a very radical opinion.

  1. It would be wonderful if reporters reported only the facts, then we could just soak it all in and not worry about if it was all true or not. Sadly, we have to deal with twists and spins added on by the media. So instead we have to really pay attention to what we are being told, and critically think and analyze. We have to make sure that what we are being told is true- or at least as close as we can get!

  2. After watching the biased shows for our Essay # 1 I saw how influential news reporters can be when it comes to presenting information on a subject. I agree that information gets twisted and spun around by the media. People must pay attention to this and figure things out for themselves.
